Editor’s notes:
1) A. G. Stephens is listed as being the editor of this book, and several others in “The Bulletin Library”, in The Bulletin Reciter on page i.

2) The “List of Recitations” (the list of contents) appears in the The Bulletin Reciter on pages ix-xii.

3) The Bulletin Reciter was released just prior to Christmas in 1901. It was advertised in The Age (Melbourne) on 14 December 1901 (page 4). There was also a brief mention in The Dubbo Liberal and Macquarie Advocate of the Dubbo Mechanics’ Institute having received The Bulletin Reciter in December 1901 [see: “Dubbo Mechanics’ Institute”, The Dubbo Liberal and Macquarie Advocate (Dubbo, NSW), 21 December 1901, page 2].

      At the moment, The Bulletin Reciter is not available from Australian book shops, such as Angus & Robertson or Collins Booksellers.
      However, copies of the book may be listed for sale on Ebay.com.au or Abebooks.com.
