The daughter of Sir Charles Mackellar, M.D., is well known as a poet and novelist, My Country being the most beautiful verses in praise of Australia yet written.
Miss Mackellar is at present on her second tour through Asia and Europe, the result of which will no doubt appear in literary form later on.
