Miss Blanche Adelaide Ryan.
The death occurred last week of Miss Blanche Adelaide Ryan, aged 79 years, of Mt. Macedon, an aunt of Mrs. R. G. Casey, the wife of the Federal Treasurer.
Miss Ryan, who was the third daughter of the late Mr. Chas. Ryan, of Mt. Macedon, lived at Mt. Macedon for 65 years. She was a sister of the late Sir Charles Ryan, and of the late Mrs. Ellis Rowan, the flower painter. She was a sister-in-law of the late Sir Charles Scott.
At her home the late Miss Ryan lived a rather isolated life. She was very fond of flowers, and spent most of her time in her garden.
