In Memoriam.
KANE.—In sad but loving memory of my dear mother, Esther Kane, who departed this life at “Redbank,” Mudgee, on March 12th, 1914, aged 82 years.
My heart is sad and weary,
The tears drop from my eyes,
Thinking of my darling mother
In the cold grave where she lies.
Five years have gone, how long it seems,
In all my thoughts her face still beams;
From memory’s page I’ll never blot
Three little words, “forget her not.”
Inserted by her loving daughter, A. M. Tattersall, “Silent Vale,” Bugaldi.
