2d Regiment of Dragoons, Cornet Thomas Askew to be Lieutenant.

1st Regiment of Foot Guards, Henry Askew, Gent. to be Ensign, by Purchase, vice Bruhl, who retires.

42d Regiment of Foot, Archibald Christie, Gent. to be Ensign, by Purchase, vice Macleod, promoted.

New South Wales Corps, Captain-Lieutenant George Johnstone, of the Marines, to be Captain of a Company.

Ditto, Thomas Davis, Gent. to be Ensign.

INDEPENDENT COMPANIES.

William Gammell, Gent. to be Ensign in Captain Ker’s Independent Company of Foot.

Lieutenant Francis Moore, from the 28th Foot, to be Captain of an Independent Company of Foot.

Ensign John Napper, from the 41st Foot, to be Lieutenant.

Lieutenant William Godley, from the 41st Foot, to be Captain of an Independent Company of Foot.

Francis John Stacpoole, Gent. to be Ensign.

Lieutenant Joseph Eamonson, from the 59th Foot, to be Captain of an Independent Company of Foot.

Ensign John Storie, of Captain Balders’s Independent Company, to be Lieutenant.
