Christmas greetings
Many a Xmas we’ve had together,
We’ve gone through fine and stormy weather,
And now, though we are growing old,
The self same Xmas wish is told.
[Description: A wreath (with wattle and waratah), with an Australian flag, supported by two crossed rifles with bayonets.]

Dear Mac
Just a card to wish you a happy xmas, a bright & peaceful new year.
Everybody that we come in contact with (sailors) tell us that you are on the very next boat. We are always hoping it is true, but your boat seems to take a long time coming.
With best love from Connie
