[Front of postcard]
Native Bear.
When the moon is brightly shining
And all things seem wondrous fair,
On the tree limbs gently climbing,
You may see the Native Bear;
Clad in fur so warm and soft,
Gentle, harmless, quite at home,
Contented if but left alone.

My Dear Sweetie
Gee love but it’s cold over here & when I got up this morning all the fences & roofs & things was covered with ice & when I went to the Bakers for the bread the foot paths was all slippery, it looks very nice to see everything covered in white but it doesn’t feel so nice.
Love to everyone & lots to you Dear
