Cudgewa = a town in north-east Victoria, which is located north-east of Berringama and south-west of Towong

Cudgewa is in the north east of Victoria in the foothills of the Australian Alps, close to the town of Corryong, the major shopping town in the area. Nowhere near Warrnambool or Terang.

The link and information given had inadvertently referred to Cudgee (Vic.), which was obviously a mistake. Thanks again for the correction.
