Heaven’s Gate
You are rich if children trust you;
If they can take your hand,
Look up into your face
And, smiling confidence,
Give you the treasure of their love.
You are happy if you can share
Their little joys and sorrows,
Join gladly in their play,
Turn childish tears to smiles.
So may you touch the fringe of heaven,
Solve the secret of eternal love
And know the greatest joy in life.
