The stamped text on the reverse side of the postcard has been slightly misplaced, so that the word “Tasmania” is missing the last letter.
At the time this photograph was taken, Florence Adelaide de Jersey was the proprietress of the Grand Hotel in Huonville; she sold the hotel to Harry Jackson in February 1949.
